Welcome to the Butler County Sheriff’s Website!
Since becoming Sheriff on January 2^nd, 2005 I have been dedicated to bringing the citizens of Butler County a Sheriff’s Office that they can be proud of.

I have adopted the motto “Spectemur Agendo” which translates to “Let us be judged by our Actions”. I believe in accountability, responsibility, and a certain “esprit de corps”.

“Sacrifice, Duty, Honor, Justice, Vigilance, and Courage are the foundation that will define this Sheriff’s Office.”

Sheriff participated in a baseball game on father's day June 20, 2010 to help raise funds for the Joe Nuxhall Field of Dreams, handicap accessible features. Click to view event photos.
