Fatal Pedestrian Strike Hanover Twp. Butler County

Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that deputies were dispatched to the area of Reily Millville Rd near Woodbine Rd around 0544hrs for a subject struck by a vehicle. A 911 caller was eastbound on Reily Millville in a white van when they reported they ran over a male laying in the middle of the roadway. The male was determined to be deceased on scene. While investigating roadway evidence and witness statements, it is believed that the male was struck by an eastbound vehicle that fled the scene.
