Home Invasion Investigation Uncovers Marijuana Grow Operation
Today, at approximately 12:50am, 87 year old Howard Fisher was the victim of a home invasion burglary in the 1200 block of Millville-Shandon Road in Ross Township. Mr. Fisher states multiple individuals entered his home and held him at gunpoint while several items that belonged to his grandson, Christopher Fisher, were taken. Christopher Fisher was not home at the time. During the home invasion Mr. Fisher suffered an injury to his hand when he was struck by one of the suspects.
When Deputies arrived on scene, Mr. Fisher was next door where neighbors called 911 for him. It was unclear if the suspects were still in his home. Deputies conducted a sweep of the home and while doing so, a marijuana grow operation was discovered in the basement. A search warrant was executed at the home. Marijuana grow equipment and marijuana plants in various stages of growth were seized.
There are no suspects in the home invasion at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
