Inmate Found Unresponsive At Resolutions Jail

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that this morning at approximately 0800 hours, corrections officers found 31 year old inmate Billy Hall unresponsive. Mr. Hall was being held on charges out of Hamilton County.

The City of Hamilton emergency crews transported Mr. Hall to Fort Hamilton Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after. The Butler County Detectives Division and the Butler County Coroner’s Office are conducting the investigation. The cause of death has not yet been determined.

Two Subjects With Fatal Gun Shot Wounds Found In Garage

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that around 9:30 PM last night, deputies, Butler County Sheriff’s Office detectives and Hanover Township emergency crews responded to 3152 Morman Road, Hanover Township for a report of a subject who had been shot. Upon arrival, two subjects were found inside the garage of the home, both with gunshot wounds. William Sandlin, 61 year old male was pronounced dead at the scene. Michelle Sandlin, 45 year old female was flown to University of Cincinnati Hospital where she died a short time later.

The preliminary investigation appears that the incident is a murder / suicide. The deceased couple was married. The investigation is on-going.

Jones reports that yesterday afternoon, BURN (Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics) Taskforce along with the Fairfield Township Police Department, concluded a month long investigation that culminated in two arrests and the seizure of almost a pound of Crystal Methamphetamine.
