Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Taskforce Conducts Search Warrant In Fairfield

Jones reports on Tuesday November 2, 2021 at 11 am The Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Taskforce (B.U.R.N.) investigated a complainant from a concerned citizen in Butler County.  Subsequent to this complaint an investigation was conducted leading to a traffic stop by the B.U.R.N. Unit.  The traffic stop resulted in the arrest of twenty eight year old Keon Benjamin of Hamilton.  A search warrant was executed at Intown Suites in Fairfield where Benjamin was currently residing, recovering a loaded firearm, drug paraphernalia and a large sum of cash.  Benjamin was charged with Possession of Drugs (F2) and Possession of Drugs (F5). Upon searching Benjamin at our corrections facility, drugs were located on his person which led to an additional charge of Illegal Conveyance (F3).  There may be further charges pending Grand Jury.
