Commissary

Commissary shall be provided to all inmates through an in-house program established by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

• Inmate Commissary shall be held twice per week. Commissary will be held only once during the weeks of which a holiday occurs. Inmates will be notified prior to a holiday.
• Indigent inmates shall be provided the necessary personal hygiene items and writing material.
• The management of the commissary funds shall be strictly controlled in accordance with procedures adopted by the Auditor of State.
