Additional Emergency Response Services (ERS) members deployed to Eastern Kentucky
Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports eight additional members of the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Services (ERS) are being deployed to Hazard, Kentucky. This is a result of the ongoing operations in the area due to the devastating flooding. ERS personnel will assist the Northern Kentucky All-Hazards Incident Management Team (NKY AHIMT) and will be assigned to the Emergency Operations Center (EOC). These members will be relieving crews that have been in place over the last several days. This operational cycle is expected to last ten days. Sheriff Jones has been in contact with local emergency management leaders and they appreciate all the assistance that we and other agencies have provided.
