JOB SUMMARY:
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for a part-time Warrants Specialist. Warrants Specialist position is a sworn peace officer responsible for facilitating extraditions of prisoners to Butler County. This Warrant Specialist position is specifically assigned to our Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) unit. The position involves a variety of duties including office and field work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Arrests and transports extradited prisoners from other facilities
- Serves CSEA related warrants
- Performs other responsibilities as related to the extradition of prisoners
Essential functions of this position are required to be performed within the workplace facilities and therefore this position is not subject to telecommuting
Requirements:
OPOTA peace officer certification. Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of appointment. Applicants are subject to an extensive background investigation.
Hours: Monday-Friday, not to exceed 30 hours per week.
