Crime Prevention Officer Assigned Butler County Sheriff’s Office
Sheriff Richard K. Jones has appointed a Crime Prevention Officer for the Butler County Sheriff’s Office. Crime Prevention Officer Rebecca Burleson comes from our Corrections Division and has a passion for preventing anyone from becoming a victim. Burleson will organize neighborhood watches for our communities, attending Home Owner Association meetings, complete security checks and assessments at local businesses, violence prevention/women self-defense classes and directing a ‘Lock it or Lose it’ campaign to deter vehicle break in thefts. “Our goal is to identify with leaders of each community in Butler County and work together to make their neighborhoods and businesses safer and more secure” said Sheriff Jones.
