Jones reports that Deputies were called to a residence on Grey Elk Court in Liberty Township last evening where they spoke with a 9-year-old male and his mother on the report of suspicious activity. The boy indicated that as he was walking home from a friend’s house on nearby Long Drive shortly after 6 pm, a black car pulled up next to him, and the male driver exited the vehicle holding a comic book. The driver called to the boy asking him if he liked comic books. The suspect then threw the comic book into the back seat of the car, and told the young boy to go get it, if he wanted it. Instead, the boy began to just run toward his home. The car then drove away. The only description that the boy was able to provide was that the subject was probably in his 20’s and was wearing a green shirt. Deputies searched the surrounding area, but were not able to locate anyone matching that description. If anyone can provide additional information about this incident, or has experienced a similar situation, they are asked to please call the Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center at (513) 785-1300.
