Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces the arrest of Christopher Lee Bevins, 28 of Hamilton, Ohio around 4 PM this afternoon after agents from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Undercover Regional Narcotics (BURN) Taskforce responded along with the Fairfield Township Police Department on suspicion of a meth lab in the 6700 block of Morris Road. That is where agents discover an “active meth lab” inside a backpack in a wooded area adjoining Fairfield East Elementary School. Bevins was arrested shortly after he attempted to make his way towards the scene.
