Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announced today that deputies responded to the rear of the Butler County Jail (705 Hanover Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011) @ 07:27 hours for a suspicious person attempting to climb over the compound fence. When deputies arrived they observed a female attempting to climb over the barb wire fence. The odd thing about the incident was the female was on the outside perimeter attempting to get into the jail property. She was advised by staff to leave the property and refused stating, “I want to be arrested.”
