Madison Township Crash Results in Fatality
Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that on July 26, 2012, at approximately 1600 hours, Deputies along with Madison, Middletown, and Germantown Fire and Life were dispatched to the area of S.R. 4 and Keister Road in Madison Twp., Butler County, for a 2 car accident resulting in 2 fatalities.
Preliminary investigations indicate that Robert Broshear, age 59, of the Hamilton, Ohio area was southbound on S.R. $ driving a Dodge truck. Kathleen York, age 21, from the Middletown area along with her passengers, Mathew Hale, age 24, from the Middletown area, and 2 children age 11 months and 2 years of age were traveling West on Keister in a Chevrolet Malibu. Kathleen York failed to yield to the S.R. 4 traffic and was struck by the truck driven by Robert Broshear.

At this time, it is reported that Robert Broshear, Kathleen York, and the 2 year old are in stable condition. Mathew Hale and the 11 month old are deceased.
This accident remains under investigation.
