Capt. Matt FrankeCaptain Matt Franke commands the Communications Section of the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, which includes the Communications Division. He retired as a Sergeant from the City of Oxford Police in 2008. Before joining the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, Matt served as project manager for the 800MHz voice system. Matt celebrated his 30th year as a member of the Oxford Fire Department in 2009. |

Before joining the Butler County Sheriff’s Office in 2009, she worked previously supporting the technical needs of the City of Fairfield and in the private sector. |

Bill VedraCommunications Technician Bill’s area of focus at BRICS is dispatch centers, interoperability with neighbors, policy and operational issues. He has worked previously as a firefighter, emergency medical technician and 9-1-1 dispatcher. Before joining the Butler County Sheriff’s Office in 2009, he coordinated technology and the communications center for the City of Oxford Division of Police. |

Dave WaddellCommunications Coordinator Dave is primarily responsible for BRICS system infrastructure. He retired as a Lieutenant from the Hamilton Fire Department in 1995 and served as the Assistant Fire Chief for Monroe from 1995 to 2000. Dave rejoined the Butler County Sheriff’s Office in 2000 (he was a special deputy from 1967 to 1972) and has been supporting the communications operation ever since. |
