New users from the City of Fairfield have begun using the BRICS 800MHz voice system. The Public Utilities Department and the Public Works Department have now joined the Police and Fire departments on the system, allowing for improved interoperability within their city and with other public works and utility agencies around the county.
These two groups join the twelve other public works and utility agencies already using the system on a primary or secondary basis.
