Illegals Here! Not for Long!
I have been promising for over a year that I was going to do something about illegal aliens in Butler County and today, I now have the entire toolbox - State AND Federal law. There is no other. Today, the Department of Homeland Security has officially granted my request for “287 (g) immigration authorityâ€! This makes us one of seven state and local law enforcement agencies in the nation with the authority to enforce immigration laws including deportation. Now, we’ll be able to address these issues right here at the local level!

You GO !! Sheriff It’s about time locals stepped up and did what our federal limp [edit] government is afraid to do. My mom and dad moved there in Butler Co. from Norwood due to the latino problem. I was born in Hamilton now reside in middle TN. working for Saturn. We need more law enforcement of your caliber in office. Keep up the good work and don’t let the liberals get you down!!
I’m worried about racial profiling, as a lot of people are. You cannot tell someone is illegal by looking at them. Are only those who are committing a crime going to be investigated??? I know some people (they were born here, but who are Hispanic) who have had the sheriff deputies watching their place of employment waiting for them to leave. Is this what’s going to happen now, watch and try to catch a Hispanic breaking the law, or just going up to them and asking for identification? We know that some have fraudulent documents, I myself look Hispanic, I do not carry my BC or SS card with me. Should I start doing this, as my license might be fake? Hopefully, the problems in the fourth ward, not just the litter will be taken care of now. Hopefully, if the deputies are patrolling in “little Mexico” they can stop the prostitutes and the drug dealers as well, instead of just driving by them. Hispanics are not the only illegals here, what about the people from Africa and the Middle East (large presense in the WC area), not all are here legally, some have had their visas expire. Are they going to be investigated also??
Dear Sheriff Jones,
I stand and applaud you and your deputies in regard to the arrest of 3 men involved in producing the fake identification cards. I hope these arrests and crackdowns reverberate throughout the entire country.
You are so right, Sheriff Jones, the presence of illegal immigrants in our county does effect the local economy. I certainly have my reasons for feeling this way.
1. There was a time when a person could support a family and make a good living in the construction trade. My 34 year old son moved out of state to secure a good job in construction at a liveable wage.
2. In regard to the arrests involving fake identification cards, i.e. drivers’ license, SS cards, etc.:
I am a proud American, born and raised in this area. When I remarried last year, I was totally disgusted with having to jump thru hoops to get my name changed on my drivers’ license, etc. I had a valid license and SS card, however, when I remarried, I had to PROVE I am who I am all over again.
And after the terrible tragedy suffered by our country on 9-11, one of my thoughts was “we are going to have to protect our borders!!”
Sheriff Jones - “YOU GOT MY VOTE”. As a citizen of Hamilton and Butler County I’m 150% behind what you are doing. Frankly, if I had more time, I’d volunteer my time to help you and your staff to rid these Illegals. People in the county and this Nation better wake up and real soon as to what is going on. This USA is slowly being taken over not just by the Mexicans but middle eastern people as well. I agree, the the FEDS won’t do it, then it is up to the local levels to get the job done. I wish you much success and keep up the Good Work you and your staff is doing.
I am proud of you Sheriff. You have kept your promise to our county. Not many politicians actually back up what they say. I am impressed with you. I am pleased that someone is going to do something about the problem of illegals. And in reference to Amy’s comment…I dont believe the Sherrif has specified a race of people at all. I believe he is after all illegal immigrants. The law is the law and you can come to America but do it legally! Way to go Jones!

This is a step in the right direction, but no solution to the illegal alien problem is complete unless we have serious penalties for those employers who hire them. We’re nation of capitalists, and as long as there is a demand for cheap labor by people who don’t mind exploiting the aliens, there will continue to be a supply of them.
And yes, I said “aliens.” Not immigrants, not undocumented workers. The proper phrase is illegal alien. If you think changing the terminology to make someone feel better is harmless, read 1984. I personally do not subscribe to “newspeak”.
I don’t live in your area but I do live in Ohio, and I’m glad to see that someone is trying to stop the illegals and get them out of our state. Ohio has enough problems with unemployment and the low-paying jobs that haven’t been shipped south (or any other direction) of our borders are all we have left.
We also have enough crime from people who are here legally. If they broke the law, which they certainly did when they crossed our borders illegally, they need to go.
I’m not one for racial profiling either but sometimes you have to prioritize. I think this invasion takes precedence over hurt the hurt feelings of the illegals. Sorry about your luck but consider the blessing of money you received while you WERE here ILLEGALLY…and take the illegal money you earned and go home.
I think anything they bought, including vehicles, while they were here illegally that can’t be taken with them should go on one of those sheriff sales they’ve been having for the locked out workers’ homes to help pay for the social services or free education their children received while the entire family was here illegally or to pay for their incarceration or the trip home.

I’m tired of reading in the Jornal News and seeing on TV about Sheriff Jones harrassing the Hispanics. I have heard him speak at several events, listened to him on the radio, and read everything in the papers. Not once have I ever heard him speak against “Hispanics”. He uses the term “Illegal Aliens” which is exactly who he is speaking about, it doesn’t matter if their white, black, asian, or hispanic - Illegal Aliens are Illegal - end of story. If you have not entered this country legally, you shouldn’t be here - if you don’t like what Sheriff Jones is doing - go home. If your an American Citizen supporting Illegal Immigrants, you are also breaking the law. If you feel so strongly about the conditions in their own countries, donate your time and money and go down there and help them fix it, don’t let them suck our economy dry.
There are immigration laws in place. If you fit the criteria, great, welcome to our country. If not, go to the US Embassy in your home country and join the Marine Corps, then you can be here legally. Give something to this country and you will be welcome, come in illegally and you should be sent home. Your very presence in this country is a Felony Offense under Federal Law.

As to everyone being concerned about racial profiling as if law enforcement is going to be out searching for people with dark skin, that’s highly unlikely.
Two of my immediate family members are local law enforcement officers, but not in Butler county. They have too much going on with answering calls, drug activity, domestic violence, etc., to sit around and go after people randomly based on skin color or ethnic background.
However, if the agencies they worked for had the certification that Butler county now does, they would be able to respond to a call and if an illegal is involved in any illegal activity they could actually do something about getting them out of the country rather than to watch the taxpayers support them through as they continously go through the justice system.
Many of the illegals here are criminals in their home countries and they continue their criminal activity when they come in to the USA. Why should any of us be expected to support them with our tax dollars as far as housing and feeding them in our jails and our prisons?
If any of you who whine and cry about how mean legal citizens are for not wanting to pay for this, contact Sheriff Jones and ask him how much it costs to feed, house and provide free legal assistance to an illegal and then send him a check to support just one jailed illegal.

It’s not highly unlikely that people with dark skin will be searched out, it’s already happening. I know of several Hispanics that work in Butler County, but reside either in Clermont or Hamilton (some legal, some not) that have to obtain rides from others because their employment is being watched. They have been followed and pulled over.
Jones wants to clean up the fourth ward, but he hasn’t. You can watch the dealers and hookers walk up and down east avenue, and the deputies drive right by. That’s why they can target a certain race, they’re not doing the jobs that your family members are doing. I can take one trip up east avenue & point out known hookers & dealers, why can’t they??? Business owners could help, they see the human trash in the fourth ward, but I don’t believe they have been asked.
Amy has just told us how concerned she is that the Sheriff’s Office will be profiling Hispanics then she continued to say how the Sheriff’s Office has not picked up the people she believes to be hookers based on their appearance. Wouldn’t the Sheriff’s Office then be profiling hookers? Amy is also quite concerned about the well being of Hispanics who are living in the fourth ward but she refers to other residents as “human trash”. What a hypocrite. If you are going to concern yourself with the less fortunate of our county then you should have compassion for all of them.
The Sheriff’s Office has never made this about race. It is people like Amy who are attacking the Sheriff that try to make it about race. The law says people without proper paperwork should not be here and law enforcement has the duty of enforcing the law. Perhaps instead of attacking a Sheriff who is trying to enforce a law which has long been ignored you should put your efforts toward getting the law changed. If the majority of citizens agree with your views then changing the law is possible, so goes the Democracy.
It’s not profiling the hookers, when you can tell who they are, when you see them approach cars and offer their bodies to the occupants inside or the dealers who are pushing crack/heroin/meth. That’s not racial profiling, you need to understand the definition: The practice of constructing a set of characteristics or behaviors based on race and using that set of characteristics to decide whether an individual might be guilty of some crime and therefore worthy of investigation or arrest.

When one is witnessed practicing solicitation (either drugs or sex) then they are committing a crime. When one is driving a car, under legal limit, with valid tags, not swerving or driving carelessly with a seat belt on, volume down on radio and they are stopped because of the color of their skin, that is racial profiling.
As far as my concern for the fourth ward, that is in response to the sheriff’s letter regarding the conditions of the fourth ward, however the health dept is not responsible for arresting the human trash that is committing the solicitation and/or purchase of either sex or drugs. My concern in the fourth ward does go more towards the crime there then the beautification of it. I have driven down the alleys and seen sex acts being performed behind vehicles. If that’s okay with you, then maybe you’re a customer. I would rather see garbage garbage than human garbage.
I also was not judging these individuals by what they look like, but rather their manner in which they acted.

Amy is only stating the facts Jones had spent to much time on trying to get the powers to enforce immigration laws he has neglected his duty as Sheriff… If he is so worried about the economy or even Butler County itself why don’t he clean up the fourth ward or the other trouble areas in Butler County???? It’s pretty bad when you can drive down the street and see the hookers giving their johns sevices and see the johns picking them up then 10-15 minutes later drop them off….. Sheriff Jones is only out for headlines and to get re-elected he don’t care about Butler County…. Why should we house other counties prisoners if they don’t have the room in thier jails then they should build a bigger one…..
Im married to an “illegal alien” we have two children together. After living on welfare my entire life with my mother in government housing in poverty, i met my husband. We got married and he has supported me and our children better than my own parents ever would. My mother is an “american” and she abused the system instead of standing up for her family. My husband might not be a American, but he deserves the title more than most of the people i know.We have spoken to two differtent lawers since we were misinformed by imagration they told us if he wanted to get his papers he would first have to leave the country for an unknown amount of time. If he goes alone i will probably need government assistance to help me support my family my husband is the only person i have. If i choose to go to mexico with him i will have to take my son out of school and he will have to go to a school where he doesnt speak the language. I am an american citizen. What about me and my children? What about my childrens right to a good education? Sheriff Jones I just want you to know that your actions are also hurting americans who have the right to have thier families together. I know youre only trying to do what you think is right, but you should know there are two sides to every story.
Nicole, you seem to have a lot of disdain for your family in that they have spent years ‘abusing’ the system yet you can excuse and justify your husband’s same abuse of the system by being here illegally. You also say that your husband has taken care of you and your children better than your blood family ever could but you seem to over look the fact that it’s not your parent’s responsibility to ‘take care of you’ once you reach adulthood or take care of your children.
And yes, I imagine it would be difficult to move your son to Mexico because he doesn’t speak the language. Shame that the Mexican government doesn’t bend over backwards to accomodate everyone who doesn’t speak their native language as they expect the US to accomodate their citizens when they flood our borders.
As for you and your children, I’m not totally unsympathetic but as an adult, you knew what you were getting into when you married someone who was here illegally and yet, I don’t feel it’s MY duty or obligation to support you and your children with MY tax dollars because of your poor decisions.
Why would you see government assistance as your only option should your husband be sent back to Mexico and you decide not to go with him? I’ve been a single (divorced) parent before, worked 2 and 3 jobs at a time when I had to and raised 5 children for many years, Not once was asking for government assistance EVER an option to me.
Instead of seeing yourself as the perpetual victim here, how about growing up and doing what you have to do as an adult and learning to take care of yourself and your children?

Nicole–I feel for you and your situation. I cant imagine how afraid you must be. But you yourself admitted your husband is here illegally. You and your husband need to find some good information on how to make him a citizen. I suggest contacting immigration by phone and setting up the appropriate appointments and classes for your husband. I also suggest doing this sooner than later. But the sheriff is upholding the law. That is his job. He is the only law enforcement official who will stand up for what is right despite the negative political backlash. This is something that is long overdue and i appreciate all of the sheriff’s efforts. Nicole I will pray for you and your family that you can find a way for your husband to be a citizen. For those of you that are complaining about the conditions of the fourth ward, what are you doing when you are watching these lewd acts being performed? Do you ever call and inform the Sheriff’s Office of what you are watching? It is possible to let them know about this so it can be stopped. Deputies cannot arrest someone simply for wearing something most of us would not. Just because someone is wearing what you would deem inappropriate doesn’t necessarily make them hookers. There must always be probable cause.
As for racial profiling, I have not once witnessed or heard of anyone being pulled over in their car while they are obeying the traffic laws simply based on the color of their skin. If someone is pulled over, it is because they were doing something wrong in the first place. If there is probable cause to pull someone over, and they happen to be an illegal alien, now something can be done.
The Sheriff’s Office isn’t out to get people that obey the law. I don’t understand is why it is such an ordeal to punish those who break it. If you know that you are doing something illegal in the first place, you should know that you will have to pay the consequences for your actions sooner or later.

She is an American and so are her children shouldn’t they have the same right as all you racist Americans…. but because her husband is illegal you tell to go to his country, he is supporting his family……why should her American children be without their father because he was trying to make a better life for himself???? When it comes to it what makes Sheriff Jones and his department racist is the fact that they will be targeting people for their Hispanic looks. I am sure that neither he nor his officers will be looking out for Anglo Europeans, i.e. Lithuanians, Russians or even Canadians (to mention a few) who are here working illegally on over extended visas. I am sure that they will not be stopping and asking for documents from people who look African American but are here from other countries. Will you be stopping Asians as well?
Illegal immigration has been ignored for years by this country, why? Because it benefits from the people who are here undocumented; If it did not, I am sure that politicians would have addressed the issue a long time ago. Contrary to popular belief illegals do not work for less money than able Americans; they work for the same amounts or in some cases more. Even Wendy’s pays more than the minimum wage to people who might be undocumented. Why? Because able Americans choose not to take those jobs.
If anybody saw the Tom Brokaw special last night “In the Shadow of the American Dream” and if you are a fair person you will accept that Americans do not like to do hard labor jobs or service jobs. It is a fact! If I were a business owner I would want to have a team of employees who will be efficient and hard working who will show up for work and not consistently complain and whine like many Americans do. The people who are here illegally did not get here easily. They took the risk of loosing their lives on the way here; as many did. Nevertheless they do it because they are hungry because, even though they will be persecuted at times they will still take it for the welfare of their families here and back in the countries.
Some people criticize the Hispanic because they live all together in one household. Let me ask, how does it affect you? This is the way it used to be here in the early 1900’s. Living like this in fact is beneficial to the economy in the long run because then they have money to buy cars, TV’s, clothes and so much more. Realize that not all the money that is made here is sent back to their countries much of it is spent in the US benefiting the economy.
Now, let’s be realistic. How is Sheriff Jones benefiting the economy of this area? It creates a bill for the federal government for people who may have not done anything else but to be here illegally. It stops businesses from working for the lack of workforce, and it deters his officers from dealing with real issues which affect the community i.e. crime etc… This brings me to a comment that said that there is nothing wrong with stopping people who are breaking the law. I agree but, I don’t know about you but when was the last time you were stopped for not having your license plate light not working or because you have a crack on your windshield or because you decided to get in your car to listen to some tunes in the driveway and you did not have your seatbelt on. All these are tactics which the police use as an excuse to stop or cite people who they know may not have a driver’s license which is a 1st degree misdemeanor.
Undocumented immigrants try to comply with as many laws as they can. However some are more difficult to comply with, such as driver’s insurance because SS # is needed. Now let me give you some food for thought. There are an estimated 12 million undocumented immigrants in this nation. Most of them are working. I will not say that 100% are but the greater numbers are. How much revenue will the US get if they pass some kind of policy which will allow these undocumented immigrants to get a temporary work permits SS# with which they can get Driver’s insurance, pay taxes, pay a penalty for being here undocumented (a fine, after all most laws that are broken have some kind of fine), pay back taxes if they have not filed, and a time limit by which they have to leave the country. I assure you that they will comply.
OK let’s do the math…
12,000,000×2, 000.00 (fine) = 24,000,000,000.00 (twenty four billion on fines alone)
Now let’s say that only 6,000,000.00 will have to pay back taxes at a conservative amount of 3,000.00 =18,000,000,000.00 that is eighteen billion dollars
Let me tell you that these are feasible amounts because there are already immigrants who have been able to get their residency by complying with these two, taxes and fines and of course other requirements but this is the way the country will benefit economically.
I would like to add that if the loss of jobs is what really chaps your hide then I would suggest that you boycott, like I have, Wal-Mart. How many jobs has this monster of a company has taken from this country. I will not purchase anything from Sam’s or Wal-Mart even if I have to pay more elsewhere.
Lastly I would like to add that it strikes me as funny that many of the Sheriff’s supporters post but maintain anonymity. Why is that?

Once again, I feel it necessary to say that regarding cleaning up fourth ward, yes, I have called regarding drug and prostitution problems occurring. Guess what??? Nothing happens. If anyone does respond, it’s not the sheriff’s deputies, it’s the Hamilton City PD. By the time they get out there, the activity is done. And by the way, apparently YOU don’t know who the hookers are because you believe they dress a different way. We are not in LA or NY, these girls dress the same as everyone else, jeans, t-shirt & jackets. It’s their behavior with vehicles that make you know they are prostitutes, and hanging on the street corners. If you want that changed then call you congressman and sign a petition. Living in America you have been given the right to free speech and freedom of thought. Does anyone else feel like the ACLU should change their name to just CLU - Civil Liberties Union or maybe NACLU - North American Civil Liberties Union. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t see how aiding illegal aliens is assisting Americans.

I would like to say that I absolutely support your campaign to end illegal immigration in Butler county. In light of the recent incursion along the Arizona border, it only makes it too clear that you are moving in the right direction. I don’t know of any American that could hear of a National Guard outpost in Arizona being overrun by mexican drug lords and not feel disgusted. Sheriff Jones, you have my vote for as long as you run for Sheriff.
Thank you Jerry, I appreciate the support. That is the kind of valuable input I am looking for. I don’t care if it is positive or negative but what I am looking for is feedback directly related to my actions and the actions of the Sheriff’s Office. Those of you who are using this blog as a forum to debate your political ideas are not helping any. I wish I could respond to everyone’s comments but it is just not possible so I will stick to just reading them.

Cut the crap and the excuses. Every illegal deserves what they get and if a few non-illegals like myself get asked for ID then so be it. It’s worth showing the Sheriff my picture. I think I’m cute.

Everybody on this site who dares speak ill about illegal immigrants, and who believes that they should all return to their country of origin should probably start packing their bags. All of you descended from someone who came from a different country, and I’m pretty sure they had no VISA. Instead of complaining about not having jobs because us Latinos take them away, you should try to accept the fact that we have the jobs because we are willing to work for a living! We will do whatever it takes to support our families and secure a brighter future for them as well; A value that many so called “Americans†lack. I honestly wish that your so honored Sheriff and all like him succeed in their “mission to save the US†by making all illegal immigrants leave the country. I would personally love to see how quickly this country’s economy and overall structure goes to trash. With out all of the illegal immigrants in this country it will become the trash that all of you deserve to have.
My parents, brother, and I came to this country illegally. We lived very poorly for a few months but soon after my father “illegal†and all managed to buy a house. 22 years later he is the owner of two very lucrative companies, a proud parent of an Architect, a Psychotherapist, and a talented Fashion Designer. Accomplishments that many of you could only dream of achieving!
So I suggest you stop wasting your time picketing at the border, forming little clubs against immigrants, and writing little notes about all us immigrants, and rather go home to raise your children who compose a great majority of this country’s “human trash†as someone so eloquently described earlier. And maybe someday you will be able to say that you have made “your†country a better place!

I believe that alot of the concern for iillegals began with the murder of Tracey Roark a few years ago. True, she may have been in a bad situation herself, but no one had the right to kill her the way they did, and it was an Hispanic man who committed this, never ever heard anymore about his consequences. Can he understand english????….Can he speak english???
Perhaps when he wants to, but it is a sure get of a bad situation when one claims “no comprende” Now that was along time ago, the problem has been growing. Now they are here, yet they are people, not objects. Yes, I agree, a burden to say the least to to our already situations with health, welfare, income, and jobs…but…face it they are here. so now how do we properly get them where they need to be. I have a little girl who has already assumed that any Hispanic is bad and runs and hides or won’t play with the children…this is trickling down into our next generation as it is effecting us now. Something to think about.
Just so you know i am not a lazy piece of white trash. I am a mother who thinks me and my children deserve the right to have our familiy. Yes I do come from a long line of losers and thats why I want a better life for my children. It really hurts me that you you make such a hurtful comment about something you have no idea about. I love my husband dearly and i feel sorry for you that you obviously dont have that in your life because if you did you would know that when you love someone thier legal status really dosent matter.I know there are two sides to every story and i just wanted to share my side, not try to make other people angry i just thought if i shared my story other people would see, not call me names and say hurtful things. I know sherrif jones is doing what he thinks is right and i commend him for that, but everything is not always as black and white as you think. I just thought if other people knew the other side, it would influence them to think about it. And regardless of what happens in my future I will do whatever it takes to give my children the life i never had.
I commend you Sherriff for taking a stand on illegals in this county! While the feds look the other way and give them incentives for comming here (welfare. americans pay for) i am left to ponder if thier lack of action has anything to do with the U.S. gov. deal with the Mexican gov. for the oil in Mexico.
Sheriff Jones - I’m very glad that you are our Sheriff here in Hamilton and I’m very proud of what you are doing about the Illegals - I don’t have a bad racial bone in me but Illegals are Illegals and it’s against the Law just as any other crime & should be dealt with accordingly. Thank you sheriff jones, job well done you have alot of supporters.I live in a community thats now over ran with mexicans and it has made our place and neighbors look awful they leave there garbage on the decks garbage in the yards. If they want to live like that they need to be back where they are customed to,in mexico.I have family members who are construction workers and they can’t even bring home decent checks like they were getting until these illegals arrived… Sheriff Jones should be running for president I know alot of people to get behind him and support him even in the states of Tennessee and Georgia and Alabama were all fed up with this Mess. We need a president like sheriff jones to clean these borders up and shut them down.He can start by checking out where some of the illegals are hiding like in the trailer parks in butler county.

DEAR SHERIFF JONES,
I AM BEHIND YOU 100% ON YOUR FIGHT AGAINST THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. I AGREE THE COMPAINES THAT HIRE THEM, THEY SHOULD BE FINED HEAVENLY.
HOWEVER I THINK YOU NEED TO START WITH THE TEMPOARY SERVICE’S, SUCH AS … JUST TO NAME A FEW. MR. JONES THEY SEND THESE PEOPLE OUT TO COMPANIES KNOWING THEY MIGHT NOT BE LEGAL TO WORK. BUT THEY LOOK AT THE MONEY THEY ARE MAKING THEM. WHO KNOWS HOW MANY ILLEGALS, THE OTHER TEMP SERVICE SEND TO OTHER COMPANIES?
I WAS JUST HIRED ON AT A PLACE THAT HIRED 15 OF THESE PEOPLE. I KNOW MAYBE SOME OF THEM WERE LEGAL. BUT WHO REALLY KNOWS?

I’M JUST HEART SICK OF GOING TO THE STORE WATCHING WHAT I SPEND. AND WATCH THE WOMAN PAY FOR HER FOOD WITH FOOD STAMPS. EXPECTING HER THIRD CHILD WHICH WE PROBALLY PAID THE MEDICAL EXPENISES. AND WATCHING THE MAN SHE IS WITH PULL OUT A WAD OF MONEY TO BUY HIS WINE AND BEER.
OUR GOVERMENT LET THEM BUY HOMES AND BUSSINESSES. AND WE STRUGGLE TO MAKE ENDS MEET

To anonymous 1/29/07 and all who cannot see the total picture of what is happening to America because of greedy law breakers or those who repeat phases heard and then not thought about or given any reason to! Who do you think does most of these jobs that Americans would do? And for that matter, always have! Americans and Legal Aliens, that who! The criminals who come here with no respect for us or our country and certainly not our laws, are not the majority of the workers in these so called jobs that none will do? You mean to tell me Americans do not want to work in the building trades? How about working in hospitals? No, what Americans do not want to work for is, slave wages with no benefits. Americans want their benefits, like unemployment, social security, and workman’s compensation. The employers have to contributive to these perks. If you are willing to work for half the wages with no benefits the employer saves that second pay he has to contribute too, if you are legal! Wooh! Think; give some reasoning to your words if you are capable. I am sick of people not thinking!!!! Just be a lemming and follow blindly, repeat the glib, the ridicules, and the spin for the child minded! All people who come here illegally come for one reason, MONEY!
They don’t want to be an American. They fly their flag, spark their language, follow their laws, and do not want to assimilate. A good part of the money they earn is sent back to the country they come from. No, they are just using us and our government is letting them. Why should they worry about our laws our “leaders†don’t. So that tells me that most are opportunist. Remember when, as a child, you tried to get away with, “Everybody else does it, “ how far did Mom let you get with that excuse? Well opportunist didn’t listen or maybe Mom didn’t speak up! Why do we want this kind of people as a part of our county? What kind of example do they make for us? Forget the law, get in as best you can, lie, give stolen papers, lie, look over your shoulder for any law that might be questing, lie, lie, lie, cheat, cheat, cheat!!!! Not my idea of the best kind to make the best kind of a citizen. People who follow the rules and wait for years to get here, by the law that governs us all, are the kind of people most of us came from. We are honored to be descendents from, not from criminals. These people who sneak here are not any more hungry or poor or in need of a better life than those who do it the right way. They come proudly and are able to summit their papers, apply for their benefits from the jobs they leally acquire, apply to the government for any entitlements with their own name and not someone else’s. Their taxes are paid to the government not back into the pockets of their rouge employers who are beatifying from breaking the law, lying and cheating more than anyone! I carry my Drivers License, examining once in awhile to make sure it is right. I carry my FOID card in case I see a gun I want. I carry my SS number with in case I need it for government forms, sure I know, but what if an official is filling out the forms. I carry my BC/BS card in case I got to the Hospital or Doctors. I carry my library card in case I want to get Smart. I carry my Visa card, my Mastercharge card, my Target Card, my BP card, My Best Buy discount card, My Ace Hardware card, My Jewel food store card, My Dominick’s card, My two debit cards, my brand new American Express card, that the first time I tried to use it, was not accepted there. My Salvation Army card, I am over 65 and get lunches there. My Radioactive Prostate Seed Implant card, in case Homeland Security monitors sense the metal in my “you know what!” My Dundee Township 50 plus Social Club card. Most important is my Voters regisration card that says that I must go to the “Iglesia Rebano Meadowdale Gospel Church” It states the my “EL CENTRO DE VOACION PARA SU DIRECCION ES: there! That is not exactly seperation of church and state is it?
Anyway, dearest Amy, sure go out with required or requested by the police or anyone else that might need it. Or you can call your family and friends from the Police Station and scare the heck out them!
