I feel that Sheriff Jones, since taking office, has already made significant strides in increasing the level of professionalism and public service to the community. I also feel that as a computer person, the look and feel of the new website is a welcome change for the office and better serves the community.

We really appreciate the good work the sheriff’s office is doing rounding up the dead beat dads.

We are behind Sheriff Jones 100%. Also would like to see a tee shirt with Butler Co. Sheriff’s Dept. on the front and on the back in bold letters
    “Git-m-Out”

The sheriff’s office does a really good job here in Butler County. I feel that I live and work in a safe place. The deputies that police my neighborhood are quick to respond to emergencies.

It’s about time someone did something about this situation. Kudos to Sheriff Jones. I personally witnessed a hit and run accident in my neighborhood a few weeks back, involving illegal aliens who did not even have a valid drivers’ license, plus fled the scene of the accident. And they were drunk on top of that. The man they hit was transported by Air Care. And there are many more such instances. They are disrespectful of our property and our lives! We are supposed to obey the rules. Why is an exception made for them? Do you think we could behave that way in another country? I don’t think so!

The sheriff’s doing a great job; he must really have a good woman behind him!

I’m glad the sheriff is doing something about illegal aliens; the Trenton police won’t even arrest them for shoplifting because they won’t show up for the court hearing!

I’m sick of the illegal aliens coming into my insurance office asking for auto insurance with titles from Hamilton County that don’t have a social security number. i’m glad our Clerk of Courts won’t issue titles to these guys and I wish our friends to the South in Hamilton County would start following the law too. It would be a whole lot easier to discourage them from being here if we made it harder for them to drive a car.

I cna’t wait to Rick Jones put those people in trucks and takes them back where they came from.

I’m glad Sheriff Jones took away the prisoner’s TVs, smoking privledges, and feeds them warden burgers. Once they are convicted, they don’t deserve to be treated as special guests.

As a police officer in Butler County, I grow more and more frustrated with the problems we face with the illegal aliens. As a previous comment stated, most of the time officers don’t do anything with them because they feel the system has failed us. I’m grateful we now have a law enforcement leader not afraid to do what’s right. I only hope that the leaders and Police Chiefs throughout the county follow your lead and take action on this problem we face. Keep up the good work Sheriff!!!

I live in Hamilton County and wish the professionals here would take a stand like Sheriff Jones. Mr. Jones, I appreciate the fact that you are trying to do something about illegal immigrants. They come here and take help that our citizens could use. I’m tired of my money going to welfare to help people who have no interest in doing anything for themselves. I see immigrants everyday who come here, have babies, are on welfare and when you call them to try to collect any payment, although they say hello, they then cannot speak english. And I’m not talking about immigrants who come here and contribute to society, nor am I speaking about any particular ethnic group. I am speaking about the lowlifes of other societies who find that America is a gold mine for lazy shiftless criminals. And they get by with it.

Thank you Sheriff Jones! It’s about time something was done. I work for a doctor and the older patients sometimes have to choose between buying medicine they need or buying food!! While these people are getting free care at hospitals because they are being paid under the table so that there is no paperwork to prove income!

I have to say that the action that Sheriff Jones has taken is such a welcome change from the “Yes” men that occupy politics today. He speaks for so many hard working, honest Americans that actually reside in and support this country. I am so tired of seeing these illegal aliens living and breathing “free” American air. They need to return to their homeland and families to allow us to regain control of our lives and country. They are a burden on our legal, medical and family stability. Thank you Sheriff Jones for being concerned for those of us that have supported you throughout your career and will continue to support such a hard working American.

    Dear Sheriff Butler:
Saw your sign story on Channel 12 News tonite, thanks for your bold and courageous efforts to address the illeal immigration problem in our area! Don’t be detered or discouraged by critics and the usual non-sensical arguments that have allowed this problem to spiral out of control and bring us to the absurd position we are in today with it! I’m sick of the strain these lawbreakers place on our society and the perverse immunity they are given to break our laws, take jobs and exploit social servces! It’s WRONG and it has to stop somewhere, sometime! God bless you!

    Behind you 100% Sheriff!

My tax dollars should not be spent on ILLEGAL aliens.

I just read on the news website that some people think the sign is racist. It doesn’t name a race. It says illegal immigrants. Why does everything every one does now a days have to be racist? I thought we were living in America. I say Sherriff Jones is the best thing that ever happened to Butler County. The next Bufford Pusser.( Not afraid of anything)
