Failure in Washington
Once again Congress and the Senate have failed the American People by not giving them a true immigration bill to help the states, counties, and cities. It is now up to local leaders to pass true legislation and enforce the law. I am going to place billboards throughout my county which quote federal law that makes it illegal to hire illegals. A poster asking for citizens’ support has also been created. To view either the billboard or the poster click on the corresponding thumbnail below.

Thank you sheriff Jones for standing up to our Washington politicians that seem to want to give our country to Mexico. I am tired of seeing foreign nationals waving their country’s flag in my face while they have their hand in my pocket.
The billboard is GREAT!! I am proud of you. You are not afraid to take a stand. That takes guts and you definitely have guts.
Dear Sheriff Jones:
I saw you on Fox News and admire your insite on border security and the problems with illegal immigration. I lived in CA for many years and when my husband retired from the Navy we moved to get away from all the problems created by illegal immigrants. Unfortunately, we see it happening all over the U.S. now. I wish more people in Law Enforcement had the courage to take a stand like you have. It is sad to see our friends and neighbors struggling to find jobs while our government does nothing to stop the flow of illegal immigrants into our country. I have watched Southern CA turn into what looks like Mexico now. The jobs that would have gone to our former military and others are taken by these people. One example is of an illegal immigrant that actually got hired by corrections because of his connections. I wish you all the best and your town is very fortunate to have a Sheriff that cares what happens to his people.

Today I saw and heard you on Fox News. I can not agree with you more! I too wish that there were many more sheriffs like you. I am so pleased to hear that you are going to try to force the federal government to do the right thing and close borders, stop employers from hiring illegals, and enforce the immigration laws.
My letter to the Senate and America:
Please put into the Alien Immigration Act tough Enforcement Policies to help ensure that the illegal aliens who may be less than truthful, which will probably be 90% of them, do not simply lie and/or buy cheap, phony documents to show that they have worked in the US.
Is there any doubt that most if not 99 percent of the illegal aliens will, having already broken federal law by being here and state laws by driving without a license or registration or proper insurance and not paying state or federal taxes by getting paid cash for day work and with many illegal aliens lying to get welfare and free medical care, simply go on as in the past and lie again and use again phony documents to get jobs and residence here any way they possibly can?
Past performance is always a good indicator of future performance. Therefore, without Tough Enforcement there will be no real Immigration Reform. What we will get is more and most likely worst illegal immigration into the USA. Any negotiation on this implicit issue will undoubtedly be seen as a weakness on part of the American nation to deal comprehensively with the immigration issue, and consequently, the hordes of illegal aliens will flood our nation as never before seen in any modern or ancient nation!
Let’s put into effect a National I.D. Card for all Americans! I am the grandson of a legal immigrant from Lithuania in 1910! My family and myself have nothing to hide from the federal government.

this is for ROBERT J YORK, im a grandson of a illegal alien, first of all you have nothing to say about my race or any others except yours,so shut it! like you said your grandfather was legal so maybe he never had to go thru what most illegals go thru now a days for a better life. now your putting down numbers like your some kind of statistic machine or something, let me ask u a question do u have proof because i sure as (heck) do and ur numbers are way off buddy.u also say they break the law by driving with no insurance, a driver license, registration, but if i remember correctly the states used to give driver license to anyone but for some reason they stopped now i think the goverment bought that on themselves.u also mentioned about them lying about thier residency, to welfare, medicare and reside here any way they can. off course because THE LAND OF OPPERTUNITY wont give them one so what happens now they have to get fake residencies, work the left over jobs(minimum wage), live in the poorest nieghboorhoods which would lead to someone getting sick, robbed, raped, or hurt for being with the wrong crowd, now since the head of the house only make minimum wage of course he has to apply for welfare or medicare and u have the (guts) to say that they do it because they get pleasure of it. come on i know people that drive a 2003 ACURA, HIS WIFE A 2005 ACURA BOTH ADDING UP TO $60,OOO MAKING 60,000 PLUS A YEAR, GUESS WHAT HE LIVES OFF OF WELFARE AND MEDICARE, DID I MENTION HE IS A US CITIZEN, OH AND HE USES FAKE DOCUMENTS FOR WORK! U WERE SAYING now u say they dont pay taxes they get paid cash, my friend ur wrong again most of them pay taxes because they get paid with a check which automaticly deducts state, federal tax. what happens to that money they paid to the goverment, easy the goverment keeps it because most of them dont do thier taxes. a friend of mine who hapens to be a police officer hit me with some facts the other day(something u wouldnt know anything about) one of them was that the IRS has over 2 BILLION DOLLARS of unpaid taxes, meaning that this money could and might be of those illegal aliens. what i see america is performing bad, letting people like RICHARD K JONES influence them and i dont address him as a SHERRIFF because he doesnt deserve it in my book, like u said buddy past performance is a indicator of future performance, keep listening to RICHARD and soon the future would tell.
