House Fire in Liberty Township, 16-Year Old Arrested
Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that deputies and Fire/EMS units from Liberty Township, West Chester Township, and Fairfield Township all responded to 7126 Tarragon Court in Liberty Township around 11:30 pm last night for a house fire. Deputies found resident Perry Simon, age 50, outside of the house where he had jumped from the second story window. Sharon Simon, age 56, escaped her second story bedroom with help of Liberty Township fire crews and BCSO deputies. The Simons were both transported to West Chester Hospital.

After locating and talking with the Simon’s 16-year-old son a short time later, Butler County sheriff’s investigators arrested him for the incident.
